Espcially when one on the list also requires a dvd or usb to boot from
which not all xp computers have.

I am surprised that Lubuntu is NOT mentioned as one of the options, nor
StartUbuntu but at least Kubuntu is mentioned, even though I doubt Kubuntu
can play a role on this but still part of the family :)

Odd enough they mentioned systems that based or forked from other
well-known systems!
