F Hi Fritz, Please remember that Focal Fossa is still in the development phase. It will not be released until April next year, and we must be prepared for temporary glitches (and maybe even some show-stopping bugs) during this period. As a matter of fact, I do not consider an LTS version ready until the release of the first point release in July or August. By that time it will probably be well debugged and polished. Re: [lubuntu-users] No Sound in 20.04??
Nio: Thanks for the reply, I like to get in "early" on stuff and then be gone by the time the full release is released, etc. After I sent that email I fiddled with alsamixer, and that didn't seem to work, then I did a Google and saw that "PulseAudio" would be the culprit . . . . I then did a system update/upgrade and in the list was "pulseaudio" . . . and logging out I thought nothing changed, but I went back to YT and now I have sound and listening to a Coltrane track . . . !!! So, that issue has already been polished and/or fixed??? early in the process . . . . : - )) F On Sat, Dec 14, 2019 at 11:11 AM Nio Wiklund wrote: > Den 2019-12-14 kl. 19:42, skrev Fritz Hudnut: > > Gents: > > > > Maybe I spoke too soon about how "everything appears the same in 20.04" > > . . . just tried to play a YT video of a singer . . . the sound applet > > shows "sound" is "on" . . .
