I've found the use of GdiskDump, DD or Pendrive Linux gives far more
consistent successful results when creating a usb installer.

Hi Ronnie,

well, it is so far 1/1 for live-usb-installer after usb-creator-gtk
attempted to eat all the processing time on my machine.
As I managed to install the wrong system (I chose saucy instead of raring),
I'll be playing with it again over the weekend :) Good to know pendrive
linux are still working, I used them for years. Possibly something we need
to re-visit for new-comers.

Hi Ronnie,

I have not used GdiskDump, I guess from the name that it clones like dd.
And I use dd a lot.

Pendrivelinux was the starting point for Lubuntu-fake-PAE 'grub-n-iso'.

I agree, these methods give consistent successful results.
