D'oh! Halfway through writing the post I changed br0 to lxcbr0. Apparently not completely. What happens if you do: sudo ifup lxcbr0 ? -- Simplify data backup and recovery for your virtual environment with vRanger. Weird. You have bridge-utils installed? Does brctl addbr lxcbr0 ifconfig lxcbr0 192.168.42.8 netmask 255.255.255.0 /opt/bin/lxcbr0-up work?
