Attached is your fixed file.

In the LyX file you sent the first yellow note states
Have a look at Document-Settings-Preamble for further settings. A brief documentation can be

Thanks, I did not initially use the fixed version when trying to include the
graph. However, after using the fixed version, it worked, although I now have a
couple questions about the fixed version.

First, although the graph shows up on the PDF, I'm not sure how to format it
such that I can center the graph, or move it in different places. The box in
the editor where the graph is placed has an option under Rotation Graphics
called Origin, which is initially placed on Default, but which gives other
options (e.g. bottom left, top right, center, etc.). However, using a different
option such as center doesn't seem to change the placement of the graph in the
PDF at all. I've attached the editor with one of my graphs for you to test
yourself.

Also, in the PDF created from the editor, it says on the bottom left of the
first page that Author notes, acknowledgements, contact information go here.
However, I don't see anything in the editor that corresponds to that part of
the PDF.

Cheers,
Maaneli

Hello,

I'm using the Lyx APA format, and I am trying to include a Microsoft Excel
graph as a graphic using the insert figure float option. The Lyx editor
allows me to input the graph into the figure box, but when I try to compile
with View PDF, it fails and gives me the following response under Errors:
undefined control sequence. And under Description:

}
The control sequence at the end of the top line
of your error message was never \def'ed. If you have
misspelled it (e.g., `\hobx'), type `I' and the correct
spelling (e.g., `I\hbox'). Otherwise just continue,
and I'll forget about whatever was undefined.

However, if I open a new editor file, and I input the Excel graph in insert
figure float and hit View PDF, it works.

So, can someone help me figure out how to make this work for the APA format
file?

Thanks in advance,
Maaneli
