Why make it hard for a user when one can make it easy? That is not the question. For historical reasons, the table dialog is unusable and has been for years. I doubt that anybody questions this. The question is: Are we going to fix this for 1.5.0, or not? I guess the asnwer is: If we find a volunteer to do so. I think that we have many more srious bugs to solve first.
