I think this *was* the case with 1.1.6fix2, but isn't with 1.1.6fix3. In 1.1.6fix2 the files I mentioned were not in the tar.gz, but were generated. They now do seem to be in the tar.gz, so it makes sense that distclean doesn't delete them. Apologies for the bandwidth waste ;) Jules
