If you're talking about the view/upgrade toolbar: I think Uwe just put it on the right because of a toolbar/session bug that is now fixed. I think that toolbar can go now where Uwe initially intended it to be. Yes this was the original reason. But now that I used it for a while in this position I like it there. Other programs also have toolbars on the left and/or right (Photoshop, AutoCAD, Illustrator, etc.). I cannot see why the position makes it difficult to access the scrollbar. My original intention was to place it behind the Standard toolbar but I don't know if there's enough space behind it for the different screen resolutions. I don't like to have it as third toolbar line on top because this consumes too much space, when it is at the side you see more of your text as the screen is always wider than it height. So if you really think it cannot be at the right side I propose to put it on the left side. Decide together with the others about the place. regards Uwe

I agree with John and Jean-Marc that the right side is irritating because of the scrollbar. Besides, this toolbar is so short that it looks like a huge waste of space to me if it uses a row of its own (left or right). Personally, I will put it on top anyway. So now that placing multiple toolbars on one row works (at least in the session file, i.e. _after_ the first startup), I'd vote for putting this toolbar on top. What do others think? Jürgen

No. However, I proposed to put it on top initially. Uwe put it on the RHS because until recently, every toolbar got its own row on top, which meant 3 rows in any case (it was not possible to store the position) Now, it is possible to put multiple toolbars on the same row and the position is stored, but only on session level, i.e. after the user had dragged it on the first row, for instance. My proposal means: Initially, you would get the three toolbars on 3 rows. If you dragged the view toolbar on the first or third row, you would get two rows after that, because session restores that. Clearer now? Jürgen
