I think you overshot it. Many styles are not second-level dependencies, e.g. beamerarticle, beamerposter and the clo styles some classes provide. Yes, they have been added for the sake of MikTeX, and we have decided some time ago to remove them (the windows installer should roll its own list for MikTeX if required). Wrong entry in dtk.layout?
The layout uses dtklogos.sty, but this is not provided by www.ctan.org/usergrps/dante/dtk.zip. Instead there is dtk-logos.sty. Shouldn't the line # \DeclareLaTeXClass[dtk,dtklogos.sty,filecontents.sty,multicol.sty,ragged2e.sty]{Die TeXnische Komoedie} be corrected?
