I guess it could also be due to the differences in the Qt versions (4 vs. 5). Would you be willing to test 2.3.0beta1 when it is released (next week) to see if you see the problem? Hi John, I just wanted to tell you that there is such a problem in the package: LyX-2.2.3+qt5-x86_64-cocoa.dmg. I solved it using: LyX-2.2.3+qt4-i386-carbon.dmg. Problem whit Insert Index Bibliography
I´m using macOS Sierra ver 10.12.2 and Lyx 2.2.3 (LyX-2.2.3+qt5-x86_64-cocoa.dmg). When I try to incorporate .bib files using: Insert, index, BibTex Bibliography. In the option "add" (add a database), Lyx is locked, does not incorporate the database, can not continue to write. This problem not exist with (LyX-2.2.3+qt4-i386-carbon.dmg).
