Hello,

Although I am not sure that point-alignment is possible yet, it is now
possible to add your own options to a table using the 'Extra' popup in
the table popup.

table questions

1999-01-30 Thread Edwin Leuven

Hi there,

I've been using lyx for a while now and I really love the program.
There are however two things concerning tabular material that I'd like
to do, but I am not sure whether there is actually a way. First, I'd
like to line out the table on the page as I used to do under latex with:
\begin{tabular*}{\textwidth}{l\@{extracolsep{\fill}}cc..cc}. The second
thing which I would really like is alignment on the decimal point.

Any suggestions how to get this working are welcome, Thanks Edwin

ps. If developers are reading this list: It would be nice to be able to
directly import tab/comma separated ascii text as a table. Now I use a
few lines in perl that create a simple latex file. I then use relyx to
create a lyx file after which I use: insert lyx-file. Seems to work but
It would make a nice option.
