win32 and aspell

During LyX 1.5.4 install I didn't have connection to Internet, 
so the installer couldn't download any aspell dictionaries.

I've installed aspell 0.50 for win32 and dictionaries for it but LyX doesn't 
see it.

How can I plug dictionaries in?

LyX uses a more recent customized aspell version. You can donwload and install the aspell 
dictionaries from here:

http://wiki.lyx.org/Windows/Aspell6
(If possible install them with admin rights.)

You lose the rest of the formatting would you not?  

If 90 percent of the ms is "text" then Bruce gets 90%
of the layout done and just needs to insert a few
equations maybe some tables and perhaps inserts a few skips.
