I have a large document with many LyX Notes. I need to print the  
document with the Notes so I can find the things I need to edit.

Global Change Notes to GreyedOut

Hi All,

(This follows my prior post, but is different enough for a new subject.)

How can I globally change all LyX Notes to GreyedOut so they will  
print in PDF?


I have 100's of notes and can't imagine changing them by hand.

look at lyx functions manual, inset-forall.
if you need this regularly, branches should be used instead...

Easiest should be to open the backed-up .lyx file in a text editor,
identify the syntax for normal and greyed-out notes and perform a
search and replace. Regards
