Hi Toni,

If there are lots of back and forths, you might get better results if
the LyX versions are both LyX 2.1.1 or both LyX 2.0.8. See for example
this recent question:
http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/193175/windows-lyx-wont-open-a-file-created-in-mac-lyx

Yes, I do it all of the time when I write papers with coauthors.

lyx files created in OSX Mac could be edited in Windows?

2014-07-25 Thread Toni Díaz Galindo
Good Morning

Please, tell me if is possible to edit in Windows a lyx file/document that
has been created in a Mac (OSX). And vice-versa: Is possible to edit in a
Mac (OSX) a lyx file that has been created in Windows?

Thank you very much.

Hello,

I tried to cite a footnote!
I label my footnote and then cited it but I got a wrong reference!
Is there another way to do the job ?

Frederick,

What kind of headway have you made on LyX->ePub so far?

Well, the style file itself declares:

"This is a numerical citation style, and as such is standard LaTeX."

So I suppose it is not possible.

Thank you for this help. I can see the bst file plos2009 now. However, if I
choose "Standard (numerical)", references are numbered and not by
alphabetic order as needed by the journal. How to go through this ?

Save the bst file in a directory where LaTeX can find it
(.../texmf/bibtex/bst/plos/).

In the BibTeX inset dialog in LyX, hit "Rescan".

Now you should be able to select it from the "Styles" combo in that dialog.

Note that the file is not compatible with natbib or jurabib, so you need to
select "Standard (numerical)"

Dear Lyx Users,
I am preparing a manuscript for Plos One using the attached bibliographic
style. However, my LyX document does't compile when I set the bibliographic
modules to natbib or jurabib. How can I make LyX take into account this
bibliographic plos style ?
Thank you very much in advance,
Best regards, Harold

Normally, graphicx is able to detect the appropriate driver itself. So, yes,
it is OK to pass no option (in normal cases).

Correct.

To suppress the automatic loading of the package, add to Document > Settings >
Local Format or alternatively to your lyx layout file the following:

Provides graphicx 1

If you want to load graphicx with different options instead, add instead:

PackageOptions graphicx pdftex
