No idea, but PayPal will do the currency conversion for you. If you want
to find out how many euros 10 dollars is, say, just google "10 dollars
in euros". Then give that many euros.

Once you log into PayPal, and right before you actually pay, PayPal will
tell you how many dollars it is, since your account is in dollars. There
are of course some fees built into that, so it will probably be slightly
more.

problema with the instalation of Lyx 2.3.1 in Windows 10

2018-09-17 Thread Sergio Celani
Hi

I have serious problems with the instalation of new version 2.3.1 of Lyx in
Windows 10.
I have been using version 2.3, with the latest installer made by Uwe
(LyX-230-Installer-6), without any problem.
I decided to install version 2.3.1 with the official installer
(LyX-231-Installer-2). It seems to install correctly, but when the
installation is finished it is impossible to start the program.
I have done several tests. I uninstall all Lyx versions (2.2.3 and 2.3), I
reinstall Lyx 2.3.1, but again the program does not want to start.

The same problem occurs with the official installer of version 2.3. But
curiously, with Uwe's version I don't have this problem. '
As last I decided to restore the system and install everything again. But
again 2.3.1 does not boot after a clean installation. Finally, I decided to
go back to version 2.3 with the Uwe installer (LyX-230-Installer-6). This
version works correctly.
I have Windows 10 pro, installed on an Asus computer, System Model
UX490UAR.

I would appreciate any help.

Sergio

Well, except for a possibility to make \cref automatically capitalize

sentences rarely start with references anyway.

Well, refstyle does support the capitalization thing, and plurals too.
Is there some reason you don't want to use it?

How do I set refstyle to *automatically* capitalize?

If you run epstopdf on the EPS file from the command line (and use the

OK I'll bite: so it worked 4 days ago? Did you do a system upgrade? What
changed? Do you use revision control for your .lyx file? Maybe you can
check out the version from 4 days ago and see if that still compiles,
and if so, compare the differences? Can you make a minimal example .lyx
and .eps file? Please read:

I am intrigued by this entry in the announcement, which leaves me
confused. I wanted to test it but where does one find this preference?

I do not think there is UI for it (yet). You have to put it manually
into the preferences file.

Err, in the text above, what is meant is "\use_native_filedialog false",
actually. I got it wrong when writing the entry :(

Don't rate this as a feature. The feature here actually is that the
native file dialog can be turned on by default on Linux. The non-native
dialog never worked properly on anything else than Linux.

Maybe the announcement should have stated more clearly ("relevant only
on Linux").
