Why? It is most likely needed. Is there a reason you want to get rid of it?

2022-02-21 Thread Dr Eberhard Lisse via lyx-users

I stand corrected, my cursor does blink :-)-O but I seem to be so used
to it that I didn't even notice :-)-O.

I copy and paste all my mail messages into an AlphaX window (I keep a
file on the Desktop to double click) because that one can format format
even indented text properly and then copy and paste it back into TBird.

TBird used to allow the firing up of an external editor, but no more

use a web browser, it isn't that much of an issue. When composing

me to turn off the blink) and then paste it into the mail client.

That seems to be weary.

in the appendix are a MASTER.lyx and two childs (CHAPTER01.lyx and

Several questions:

-is File>Export>Lyx-Archive working for master/childs??

-Under formats (output format) 'Put fragile content out of moving
argument' in the MASTER. what does it mean and is it needed also in the
childs?

-in the childs there is a warning in outputting it to pdf >

Note that I use a special Bibliography setting biblatex-spbasic (but

A misunderstanding. The first command was only from my

\AtBeginDocument{\setlength\bibitemsep{2mm}}

because LyX loads biblatex later and until then \bibitemsep
is unknown. Let ME know if you need an example file

Write into the preamble:

\bibitemsep The vertical space between the individual entries in the
bibliography.

Use \setlength\bibitemsep{2mm}  or \addtolength\bibitemsep{1mm}

(what will become LyX 2.4.0). The fix might also be backported to the
next LyX 2.3 version, but this is not yet decided.
