Insertar imágenes con referencia absoluta

2011-10-30 Thread Leonardo Andrés Jofré Flor
Estimados amigos:

 Gracias

Jose M,

You should really try to write in english, in spanish only few people

The space between paragraphs depends on the document type, what is it?
Can you send a minimal file exhibiting the problem?

texlive-core has a bug that somehow is triggered o such a setup.

 wrote the article in a simple article layout and now want to use the
 copernicus.cls class for publishing

 Currently, there is no layout file available for the copernicus.cls and
 rather than copy-pasting all my LyX generated LaTeX code paragraph by
 paragraphy to a 'normal' tex editor (e.g., TeXnicCenter), I would like to
 build a LyX layout file. I've read some posts about building layouts, but
 I'm already stuck at the first definition of the class: this is because
 copernicus.cls is an article style class, which has to be called like this:

 \documentclass[journal abbreviation]{copernicus}

 Now I have 2 questions:
 - how do I set this document class in a layout file?
 - how much time would it cost me, all in all to build such a thing, all the
 way (without any layout programming experience?).

 Thanks for your input! Cheers

The quick and dirty answer (assuming you are in Unix/Linux):

cp /usr/share/lyx/layouts/article.layout .lyx/layouts/
cd .lyx/layouts/
mv article.layout copernicus.layout
edit copernicus.layout with any text editor
change the second line :
# \DeclareLaTeXClass{article}
to
# \DeclareLaTeXClass{copernicus}
run Tools - Reconfigure in Lyx menu
restart lyx
create a new document with the class copernicus

All this class environments and commands not existent in article can

 We are pleased to announce the release of LyX 1.6.0.

 LyX is a document processor that encourages an approach to writing
 based on the structure of your documents, not their appearance. It
 is released under a Free Software / Open Source license.

 You can download LyX 1.6.0 from http://www.lyx.org/Download
 The source can be found at ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/stable and binary
 packages for the different systems can be found at
 ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/bin/1.6.0

 LyX 1.6.0 is the culmination of 15 months of hard work and you can
 find an overview of the new features here:

 http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/NewInLyX16

 We hope you will enjoy the result!

 Known issues with LyX 1.6 compared to the previous stable release
 (LyX 1.5.6) can be found at http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/ReleaseNotes

 If you think you found a bug in LyX 1.6.0, either e-mail the LyX
 developers' mailing list (lyx-devel at lists.lyx.org), or open a bug
 report at http://bugzilla.lyx.org

 If you have trouble using LyX or have a question, consult the
 documentation that comes with lyx and http://wiki.lyx.org. If you
 can't find the answer there, e-mail the LyX users' list
 (lyx-users at lists.lyx.org).

 The LyX team.

My congratulations to all LyX developers and contributors, this year
has been a tremendous development success. You have added very good
new features, the stable version is rock solid, and five the release
candidates for 1.6.0 are a lot of
quality assurance.

Kudos for you!

My congratulations to all LyX developers and contributors, this year
has been a tremendous development success. You have added very good
new features, the stable version is rock solid, and five the release
candidates for 1.6.0 are a lot of
quality assurance.

Kudos for you!

exam layout

2008-08-21 Thread Andrés Becerra Sandoval
Hello,

I have been fighting a little bit to create a layout for exam
(http://tug.ctan.org/cgi-bin/ctanPackageInformation.py?id=exam)

So far I have a *small* layout with two styles, one for questions and
another for solutions. In the jpg attached you can see the output
generated by latex for the small example exam.lyx.

As you can see in lyx, the numbering of the questions is reseted when
a different style (solution) is inserted betwenn two questions,
howeber the latex output is numbering correctly the questions. How can
this be solved?

Thanks,

CopyStyle applied?

2008-08-01 Thread Andrés Becerra Sandoval
Hello,

I am very intrigued by the keyword CopyStyle recently discussed and I
would like to create a layout for the class exam
(http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/exam/)

This class defines an environment questions that groups all the exam
questions.
Each question is inserted with the command question and is
automatically numbered.
The answers for the question are defined with the environment solution
The following is a minimal example:

\documentclass[12pt]{exam}
\begin{document}
%\printanswers
\begin{questions}

\question
What is the speed of light?

\begin{solution}
30 km/s
\end{solution}

\question
What is the color of the sky?

\begin{solution}
Blue
\end{solution}

\end{questions}
\end{document}

The questions are automatically numbered like in the png attached.

So, I would be very grateful for suggestions of how to handle this
environments (questions,solution) and the command question in the
layout with the CopyStyle keyword!

Thanks,

Hello Hellmut,

You should place the ebuild in an overlay, lets say
/usr/local/portage. Edit /etc/make.conf adding this:

PORTDIR_OVERLAY=/usr/local/portage

-Then create these complete route: /usr/local/portage/app-office/lyx/files
- Move the ebuild there
- cp /usr/portage/app-office/lyx/files/lyx.desktop
/usr/local/portage/app-office/lyx/files
- Put the patch in the Gentoo bugzilla (lyx-1.5.0_beta1-gentoo.patch)
in /usr/local/portage/app-office/lyx/files
- ebuild /usr/local/portage/app-office/lyx/lyx-1.5.0_beta1.ebuild digest
- emerge -av lyx

BTW i verified the packages mentioned in the DEPEND sections: most have
already been merged some of the libX's weren't known to eix. ???

The emerge -av lyx should list the dependencies portage is going to merge .

I hope it helps

 LyX is a great way to write beamer slides. Assuming that you are using
 LyX 1.4.x, do the following. Locate miktex root
 directory\tex\latex\beamer\lyx\layouts\beamer.layout, copy it, and put
 the copy in C:\Documents and Settings\your login id\Application

Hello,

Do you know the listings package?
http://www.atscire.de/index.php?nav=home

You can input listings in many programming languages, the output can
be customized, and it doesn't require external tools.

Well I've advanced in the solution, I've kept on investigating and I've
realized that I had this latex code in the master document.

\addtocontents{toc}{\protect\setcounter{tocdepth}{0}}

It's placed before the last chapter (Before all the appendixes), I want it
to be there, becuase I only want the appendixes to be mentioned in the
TOC, I don't want their chapters to be listed. This doesn't seem to affect
the table and figure list, though does the algorithm list. If I remove
that line the TOC depth doesn't change (Something that I don't want to
happen), but the algorithm list works well.

Any solution?.
