References appear with "et" instead of "and" between authors
Hi all, I'm using BibDesk as my reference package in Lyx. I have set the Lyx options (Documents > Settings) to "Natbib: Author-year" and the citation style to "[author1] and [author2] ([year])". Unfortunately, when I produce my PDF file, the reference appears as [Author1] et [Author2] (2000) instead of the desired [Author1] and [Author2] (2000). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, CP

Any alternative solutions?

After you 'Start Appendix Here' instead of 'Section' environment use 'Section*' (unnumbered). I guess this should do what you want. Liviu Thanks guys. That was too easy.
How to remove letters from Appendix? [Appendix A -> Appendix]
Hi all, how can I remove the lettering of the Appendix? Example: When I start the appendix, the PDF output file displays "Appendix A". I would like it to simply show "Appendix", and would like cross-references in the text to show "Appendix". Thanks!

Page numbering: [Page #] / [Total # of pages]
Hi, how does one change the page numbering format to the following: [Page number] / [Total number of pages] Example: At the bottom (center) of the fifth page of the document that has a total of 15 pages, I would like the PDF file to display "5 / 15". Thanks!

Setting zoom level when opening PDF output file
Hi, does anyone know how to set the zoom level for when you open the PDF output file? I found that the package hyperref is supposed to allow this feature but I don't know the command. Does anyone know where to find all the options that can be used in hyperref? Thanks.

Changing height of certain rows in a table
Hi, how does one change the height of a given row (over multiple columns) in a table (i.e. without changing the height for any other row)? Thanks.
Adding title/text to Propositions/Theorems/...
Hi, does anyone know how to add text to/name a Proposition/Theorem/...? Example: Proposition 2 (Main Result) blablabla I.e. I would like to make "(Main Result)" part of the proposition definition. Thanks.
User-defined numbering in equation (have text instead number appear next to equation in output file)
Hi, I'm trying to refer to a formula within a document and would like the output file (PDF) to display a text instead of a number next to the formula (while the equation numbering should remain unchanged in the rest of the file and not count this one equation in its equation count). Example of what I would like in the output file: [start] x = 2 (Program 1) [end] I would like the PDF file to display "(Program 1)" next to the equation. I have found a reference in the math manual in section "19.4. User-defined Numbering" but don't know how to implement that in LYX. Thanks for your help!
