lyx 2.0.1: .tex import with use of .cls and .sty files
Dear user list Is it generally possible to import a .tex with use of .cls and .sty files to Lyx? If I import the example.tex to Lyx, Lyx creates line breaks as follows: \cventry{2011--2012} {Masters of Commerce}{The University of California}{Berkeley}{\textit{GPA -- 8.0}}{First Class Honours} % Arguments not required can be left empty What can I do to avoid such errors in Lyx? Regards Joerg
Lyx: citation
Dear Lyx user list In Lyx appears the citation in form of (vgl. Scheer, 2002, S. 4) but in the PDF the citation appears in the form of [vgl. 1, S. 4]. What can I do to change the PDF citation view to (vgl. Scheer, 2002, S. 4)? Best regards Joerg
lyx: customizing documentclass (scrartcl)
Dear Lyx list 1. How I could customize (for the whole document: own title format, author and standard text format) f.e. in the documentclass scrartcl? 2. If I insert a header in the preambele it works as long as I change the format to use the predefined title or author format. If I use the predefined format for titel, author ... then the header will disappear. What do I wrong? Best regards Joerg

use of nativ tex documents - LyX 1.6.4
Dear list After opening a master .lyx document and exporting it as a LaTex (normal) document I can not use any more this native .tex file for further writing or releases during the import procedure. Following message occurs during importing: "the following file already exists - you would like to overwrite this?" -> Yes -> "during the proceeding of tex2lyx -f 'newfile2.tex' 'newfle.lyx' an error is occurred" Is it always necessary to save documents in the "proprietary" .lyx format? Is it not possible to work only with native .tex files? For what reasons exists the export/import functionality? Thanks for for your help.
