I have prepared a Prosper class presentation in Lyx and want to include
some of it in a book I am preparing for my students. In Lyx I did a copy

about 800 errors. These disappeared when I cut the new parts from the document.

How about a M-C-i to close/open all floats? It would not be a toggle so
that you don't get the inverse when some were opened others were closed
ie it would yet you select open all close all invert.

Apologies if this exists and I'm too dumb to have noticed!

I've installed all the Prosper package, layout files and inc files and
can now produce a very simple prosper file from within Lyx.If I include
eg \style{PPRclean} in the preamble I get errors and when I tried
viewing Christian's sample file I got 101 errors and Dekel's cluster
file gives me 11 errors.

What am I missing?

* The entire Prosper package is installed under tex/texmf/latex/prosper
and texhashed
* theorem.inc etc are in ~/.lyx/layouts
* dsfont.sty is in the tex tree
* I have run configure

Layout with nested styles for examdesign LaTex class

2002-08-09 Thread Laurie Savage

After browsing the archives I came across Jon Pennington's posting for
exam.layout. When exported to LaTex it does not generate the nested
structure the class needs, viz

\begin{question}
A question
\begin{answer}
An answer
\end{question}
\end{answer}

or the paired structure for mix and match

\begin{match}
\pair{Einstein}{Relativity}
\pair{Hoyle}{Panspermia}
\end{match}

If some one will point me in the right direction I'll have a go at
rolling my own and post the results here.

Problems installing exam.cls from CTAN

2001-10-09 Thread Laurie Savage

I have copied exam.cls to the /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/lyx directory,
run texhash, reconfigured and restarted Lyx. I cannot see a reference to
this class in the documents>layout>class field.

There was no .sty or .layout file in the package. How do I fix this?

Installing the exam.cls package

2001-10-09 Thread Laurie Savage

I have copied exam.cls (from CTAN) to my /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/lyx

does not appear in the Documents:Class field.

What next? I'm not sure how to set up a new .sty or .layout file

Re: problem with pybliographic

2001-08-21 Thread Laurie Savage

I guess you've started by insrting the Bibtex references at the end of
your document otherwise the little gray boxes with the citation ref would
not appear.

Do a view on your document, you should see the correct references

Otherwise ...

Check .lyx/lyxrc for the pipe and delete the lyxpipe files
before starting Lyx then start pyb. Works for me.
