Use package textcomp

2008-12-09 Thread chilly009

hi

Got a problem with the textcomp package. We sometimes use the symbols that
are included in the textcomp package so therefore i have added the
\usepackage [full]{textcomp} in the latex preamble under document settings
in LyX. Also tried with
\usepakcage {textcomp} but with no change in effect.
The problem is that when we add the signs like for example the € lyx
automatically adds \usepackage{textcomp} in its own preamble. The amble
before the latex preamble. Then you get the textcomp clash error because
there are two textcomp commands. If i then remove the command i put in the
latex preamble i get an error saying
 ...textcomp\RequirePackage[full]{textcomp}\fi

The package textcomp has already been loaded with options:
  []
There has now been an attempt to load it with options
  [full]
Adding the global options:
  ,full
to your \documentclass declaration may fix this.
Try typing return to proceed.

Right now i have no idea what to do or what to make of the error message...
can anyone help me?
