Re: Cites from pybliographic
Try the following. Before opening Lyx and pybliographer, go into the hidden folder .lyx and delete the lyxpipe.out and lyxpipe.in files. They will be re-created at the next start of Lyx and everething should work fine again. D. Burget [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I have just updated to 1.3.6 Now if I try to cite directly from pybiographic I get the error message Can't connect to Lyx Interrupted system call This worked in Lyx 1.3.4 (the previous version) The Lyxpipe setting is correct in EditPreferencesPaths I can cite correctly from a bibtex bibliography, but prefer to 'cite while I write' with the benefit of seeing the whole reference + abstract. Many thanks in advance. Alastair Lewis

Re: Install failure - Qt version - lyx 1.3.2 Mdk 9.1 rpm
Mandrake has specific rpm's for lyx 1.3.2, both mdk9.0 and 9.1 Use rpmdrake and specify an mdk-devel/cooker source for rpms. Like: http://ftp.club-internet.fr/pub/linux/Mandrake-devel/cooker/i586/Mandrake/RPMS/ I have installed the above source of packages as an ftp server, don't forget to replace the http:// by ftp:// at the begining of the path. The list of packages for the configuratin of the package source in rpm drake is in the same directory under: synthesis.hdlist.cz Dependencies like a liblyx, tetex will be automatically taken into account.
