ML archives request

2010-03-05 Thread Janek Kozicki
Hi,

I just subscribed to lyx-users and lyx-devel.

Can someone, please, send me the mailing list archives in mbox
format ? I'll import it to claws-mail directory and enjoy the grep
feature in claws :)

Thanks in advance.

Janek,

a few days ago I subscribed myself in the lyx-devel list and I
received, along with the confirmation-related mail(s) the extremely
usfeul Administrative commands for the lyx-devel list (see below).

I managed to get the posts I wanted. I don't know/remember if the same
is valid for the lyx-users. Check it out - Good Luck.

Regards, Nikos

--- Administrative commands for the lyx-devel list ---

I can handle administrative requests automatically. Please
DO NOT SEND THEM TO THE LIST ADDRESS! If you do, I will not
see them and other subscribers will be annoyed. Instead, send
your message to the correct command address:

To subscribe to the list, send a message to:
   lyx-devel-subscr...@lists.lyx.org

To remove your address from the list, send a message to:
   lyx-devel-unsubscr...@lists.lyx.org

Similar addresses exist for the digest list:
   lyx-devel-digest-subscr...@lists.lyx.org
   lyx-devel-digest-unsubscr...@lists.lyx.org

To get messages 123 through 145 (a maximum of 100 per request), mail:
   lyx-devel-get.123_...@lists.lyx.org

To get an index with subject and author for messages 123-456 , mail:
   lyx-devel-index.123_...@lists.lyx.org

They are always returned as sets of 100, max 2000 per request,
so you'll actually get 100-499.

To get an index with subject and author for the last 100-200
messages (this also tells you the latest message number), mail:
   lyx-devel-in...@lists.lyx.org

To receive all messages with the same subject as message 12345,
send an empty message to:
   lyx-devel-thread.12...@lists.lyx.org

The messages do not really need to be empty, but I will ignore
their content. Only the ADDRESS you send to is important.

You can start a subscription for an alternate address,
for example j...@host.domain, just add a hyphen and your
address (with '=' instead of '@') after the command word:
lyx-devel-subscribe-john=host.dom...@lists.lyx.org

To stop subscription for this address, mail:
lyx-devel-unsubscribe-john=host.dom...@lists.lyx.org

In both cases, I'll send a confirmation message to that address. When
you receive it, simply reply to it to complete your subscription.

If despite following these instructions, you do not get the
desired results, please contact my owner at
lyx-devel-ow...@lists.lyx.org. Please be patient, my owner is a
lot slower than I am ;-)
