Odd warning message

I am using LyX 2.0.0beta4  with debian testing.  I have had several 
warning popups when saving a file saying that the file has been modified 
by an external program, when that is not the case.  It does not happen 
every time, but it happens often, especially, it seems, with new files.


It's not, of course, a big deal, since I can just ignore the warning, 
but it is odd behavior.
