Re: Picture on title page

2000-12-08 Thread Yann Collete

Hello,

Ok, I see. I am using the builtin Title and author lyx environment.
You, you make your own title page. I think it's a good idea.
Just on more question please:
How do you change the size of the Title font (Huge bold font) ?
You're not using the caractere or paragraph dialog.

Your sincerely,

YC

Re: Picture on title page

2000-12-08 Thread Yann Collete

Hello,

Ok, it works so fine now.
It's easier to do a first page like this than
using lyx environment I think.
Thank you so much.
PS: I have found for the font size.

Your sincerely,

Yann COLLETTE

I strongly disagree. You should be able to use the Title ,Author,Abstract
etc... styles and not have to deal with font sizes, placement so on.

This is just a "trick", not a "easier" way to do the job :-))
I don't really know what standard classes offer, may be this stuff is
just related to "article.cls" limits. LateX gurus should comment.

 Thank you so much.

You're welcome

After entering the author name, press ctrl+enter, and then insert the figure

Another option, is to put the figure (as inlined) in the date layout.
