Hello, Ok, I see. I am using the builtin Title and author lyx environment. You, you make your own title page. I think it's a good idea. Just on more question please: How do you change the size of the Title font (Huge bold font) ? You're not using the caractere or paragraph dialog. Your sincerely, YC

You should be able to use the Title ,Author,Abstract etc... styles and not have to deal with font sizes, placement so on. This is just a "trick", not a "easier" way to do the job :-)) I don't really know what standard classes offer, may be this stuff is just related to "article.cls" limits. LateX gurus should comment.
