Thank you for your reply, but ehm.. sorry for ignorance, where should it be and how is it named, the latex log ? btw, Lyx is not reporting any warning or error .. I don't know if this will work in Ubuntu Lucio
But I use this in Debian testing:
\usepackage{graphics}\chead{\resizebox{2.0cm}{!}{\includegraphics{/full path
to your/graphic.jpg}}}
