No, it is not. LyX is moving towards gui independance and a KDE port
is likely to be one of the first made.

Stupid GUI question (sorry :).

Are the scrollbars in LyX controlled by LyX itself, or by the
windowmanager, in my case KDE?  I've looked for a control to
slow down the action a bit, thinking it should be somewhere
in the KDE config tools, with no luck.  I've asked about this
subject on the KDE users list, but had no response.

Maybe someone here knows, so I can configure them,
or stop wasting time looking.

Currently only code tweeking would do this for you.
