compose key doesn't work with LyX-1.2.0pre4

2002-04-28 Thread Ronald Florence

Arghh! The compose key, which worked perfectly with earlier versions
of LyX, does not work with Lyx-1.2.0pre4 [Sparc-Solaris-8,
xforms-89.6].

I'd appreciate help or suggestions on getting this to work. Thanks,

please produce lyx -dbg key output. Once again this is going to be
painful since I don't have a compose key ! And the developer most likely
to be able to fix it is rather busy with other things right now ;)

I didn't realise the menu thing is new in lyx 1.2, I will look at it
soon

Can you file bugs at bugzilla with this info for both problems (in
separate bugs) ? Thanks.

I do not really know... Is he using an xforms version newer than
0.89.5? In this case, compose keys are handled by xforms instead of
LyX.

He may try to run "lyx -dbg key" and send the output to the list (or
compare the output to your own).

I know there are problems in this code, but I don't know where.
