I've just written an overview of the new features in the forthcoming 1.6 release for Linux.com. Apologies to the developers if significant features had to be marginalised because I had to prioritise. The only thing I'd have done differently would have been to put a bit more emphasis on the new math macro implementation. It solves truckloads of old problems, such as: If you had an included document that contained nothing but your favorite macros, you had to load it before loading any document that included it to get LyX to recognize the macros. That kind of thing. rh
