Re: [M100] REX Castellated board
162. 236 has worse bugs ;) some fixes, and then some new bugs. when you find bugs identify them on the wiki. that would be helpful. Quick question while you're around: your notes mentioned there are bugs in release 236, but there are also bug fixes (related to T200 and NEC I think you said), so: Would you recommend using 162 or 236 for the M100/T102 right now? Would you recommend using 162 or 236 for the T200 right now? jim

no problem. need to find the time and energy to fix the software one of these days. On Fri, Oct 20, 2017 at 2:04 PM, Brian Brindlewrote: > Thanks Stephen for all of this. Been a fun project. Thanks Stephen for all of this. Been a fun project. Running my new Rex through it's paces now. Loaded everything from backup and it's doing great. Re: [M100] REX Castellated board
good to hear the castellated board is working. I revised the REX PCB design to (1) remove unneeded parts (2) use ground and power planes and (3) provide a pad to bridge 3.3V onto PORT_EN with a solder bridge. I don't myself plan to test the board but I can post it for others to test. Steve On Fri, Oct 20, 2017 at 12:23 PM, Josh Malonewrote: > My parts should arrive tomorrow. [M100] Retropi cases...
Just saw a video on YouTube reviewing 'retro pi cases"; these are cases for the raspberry pi that look like teeny-tiny old computers; Atari ST, Vic-20, C<64, Amiga 500... Apparently the guy making them is looking to make cases resembling other old computers so my first thought, of course, was... M100! Here's a link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHVnXdeD9Ek And here's a link to the retro pi cases website: https://retropicases.com/ So maybe if enough of us give them feedback telling them we want a model 100 case... he'll make us a model 100 case! Imagine logging on to your raspberry that looks like a model 100, and controlling it from your model 100...

I'm using some AM29F800BB-90EF I had. Waiting on the AM29F800BB-7EK from China still. Should be here today.
