I know this is really off subject but I flew to Linate on monday, worked for
two days in Parma, then flew out of Linate on Wednesday evening. At Linate,
the only thing I noticed was that they checked everyone's temperature coming
in. I would have thought it better to check those leaving (which did not
happen on Wednesday). In Parma, things seemed a bit calmer (on the streets) but
there weren't really a lot of people wearing masks. The restaurants I ate at
seemed (more or less) normal but we did talk about the virus at where I was
doing some things. There were a couple of cases in Parma, related to the
Codogno incident.
I think the big change was when I flew back to Sweden via Frankfurt from
Linate. The Lufthansa plane to Frankfurt, an A320, had (perhaps) 15 passengers
on board. Linate seemed a bit less crowded but there were still people flying.
And no temperature checks on people leaving.
To make sure there is an M100 item here I am waiting for the CPM upgrade but I
was a bit disappointed to learn that Turbo Pascal for CPM was for a Z80. I
still run a CPM simulator under Linux. Not sure I could patch wordstar for an 8
x 40 display but the external monitor option is an alternative and I think it
used VT100 codes.

I'm not saying that there's no problem, I'm saying that things would go easily
if we don't panic!

Curious what people are doing wrt preparedness for this?
I have a friend in Milan and things went downhill pretty fast there.
Me personally- I am building up some stores of things we need anyways plus
some specific medications we might need if sick with a flu. Cant purchase
masks.. sold out!
