Re: [M100] Recognize this cable?
Hold onto it for a day or two, I have a stack of about 100 PCMCIA cards, I might be able to pass one along if I can find one that fits. I'm sure you're right; it's almost identical to the cable used by an IBM ethernet II adapter but there's an extra tiny bump that prevents it from going into the socket. All my PCMCIA modems use different connectors so I think I can toss this cable with a clear conscience ;-) Thanks again, m - Original Message - From: Brian Brindle<mailto:bbrin...@gmail.com> To: m...@bitchin100.com<mailto:m...@bitchin100.com> Sent: Thursday, April 20, 2023 1:57 PM Subject: Re: [M100] Recognize this cable? That's an old school PCMCIA MODEM telephone cable with A 41H8105 connector. You'd cram that huge crazy end into the PCMCIA modem and the other into your wall jack. Re: [M100] Recognize this cable?
Thanks, Brian, I thought of that but never bothered to check with my box of PCMCIA modems because of the six-pin RJ12 plug; I will now though.
