moving times bus cannot. one of them is busy

2012-10-12 Thread Sarah Alawami
Hello to all. I'm trying to move a bunch of folders from my internal to my
external drive. I cannot because it says that The selected items can’t all be
put into the same location, because at least one of them ” is busy.

I've emptied the trash, restarted the computer, relaunched the finder etc. Iv'e
googled for all of this but they have the issue with iPhoto.. This is to iPhoto
but a few folders of music and odds and ends like that. so there's not much I
can do in trouble shooting and fixing. any advice?

Re: A More Accessible Skype interface.

2012-10-12 Thread Sarah Alawami
Same here. it's very much usable. I can do video if I really want to, host
conferences and even call my phone when I loose it. lol! so to me the rewrite
is not even remotely necessary. and you have to follow so many rules that skype
puts on the api like not call it something for skype or not have the word skype
in it that many projects have been abandoned due to a lot of restrictions to
the debs.

but yeah get used to the interface. it's slick, smooth, easy to use and very
very streamlined. Iv'e been using it for about a year and a half with no
troubles at all.

Re: How to re-install a previously purchased iPhone app

2012-10-12 Thread Sarah Alawami
what I do is to go to the updates tab in the app store on the iPhone, then go
to purchased items and wait. then go to not on this iPhone and scroll through
the apps. When I find the one I want go to the install button or tap the app
then tap install as I can't remember the order of the fields.

How to re-install a previously purchased iPhone app

2012-10-12 Thread Paul Hopewell
Hello,
I have asked this before but failed to adequately file the answer!

I need to re-install an iPhone app previously purchased from the iTunes store.

I recall there is a key combination which will allow one to override a dimmed

that keyboard combination is. I will be sure to securely file the answer this
time!

Many thanks.

Re: converting mp3 files into adio books

2012-10-12 Thread Sarah Alawami
That's another good one but for some reason it labels my stuff as part 1 and
not what I tagged it as. It's over all a very good app though.

You need to watch it though if you have 40 hour books. it will only do at most
24 hours before it stops. No warning no nothing. and it imports it in to iTunes
and you realize when you get to the end you did not finish the book. This is
with the slider in prefs all the way to the right. I see no fix for this so
just a warning.
