Hello. Not sure if it is still at http://www.macupdate.com but look for
mactubes. it will be what you want. I've been using this software since 2010
and I love it. Now that the dev put help tags in it will make navigation much
much easier.

Woolworths IOS App

2014-01-01 Thread Dane Trethowan

Sent from Dane's iPhone +613400494862
Hi!

Just been using this App to create a shopping list, search for products online,
order my list of products and confirm a delivery time so all I have to do now
is wait for the goods to turn up on Friday morning.

The App is very easy to use and mostly accessible, will have to find out what a
few buttons in the App do and label them appropriately.

The Woolworths App as far as I know only applies to Woolworths stores in
Australia.

The App uses location tracking and will check to see that the product you've
ordered or are looking for is available at your local store.

Using IM + Pro With Facebook

2014-01-01 Thread Dane Trethowan

Sent from Dane's iPhone +613400494862
Hi!

Is anyone using IM + Pro with Facebook?

Its been a good while since I've used this App and it seems that many things
about the App and adding Facebook accounts have changed.

I try to add a Facebook account, IM + Pro says that verification is required.

I see a Connect To Facebook button but when I double-tap that all that seems
to happen is that the App Store is opened.

I have the Facebook App installed on my iPhone and I can see a button to open
this, I've tried opening the App and looking for any references to account
verfication but can't find any.

Going back to the IM + Pro App I see a Done button but this appears to do
nothing when I double-tap it and the same is true with the Cancel button,
perhaps someone can tell me what I'm missing?

How does that work? Web Visum, as I know it, will let you copy and paste
images so you can go on secure sites. I'm not sure I'm understanding this.

Sorry.

Thanks,

I would try webvisum. you will get a live person to help you there. It even
read my business card I had as I needed to get some info off of it.

Good luck.

Hey, that VizWiz is such a neat app. However, the buttons don't really show
up. I guess it's kind of a hit and miss thing. My answer to what these
buttons are was this:

Decrease and increase

and that was that. But I like it.

2014-01-01 Thread meadowlark77
Hello all,

They could red some of them with VizWiz. They could read:

Mic
Synchro
Menu
Stop

Well, awesome. I like that. I might could use that thing yet. That's a
pretty good app.

There were two answers. One read the synchro, menu, and stop buttons while
the other read the Mic button along with that. Very interesting. That
synchronized recording is what I'll be looking to use alot.

Thanks guys,

Hello,

VizWiz has gotten me out of some sticky situations. Since this app is run by a
research group, there have been times that the response to a question has taken
more time than I would have liked. I use it when all else fails. I guess I need
instant gratification. JMO.

If your security settings are set to only allow apps from approved sites (or
something like that), it won't run when you press command O, or command down
arrow. instead, you need to select open from the contet menu. Once you open it
that way, it'll install and run normally from then on - it's a security measure.

Did you not copy the app file from the folder in where it resides to the apps
directory? I can't remember if it is a zip file but if it is , unzip it in
your dl directly then copy the .app file to your apps folder, then vo shift m
on the thing to bypass gate keeper.

Hello. Not sure if it is still at http://www.macupdate.com but look for
mactubes. it will be what you want. I've been using this software since
2010 and I love it. Now that the dev put help tags in it will make
 navigation much much easier.
