Re: Usability of Spotify

2014-04-07 Thread Sarah k Alawami
I don't think apple vis does campaigns of the month anymore. I don't see a
submition for it on their site. If this is the case it looks like we are on our
own in terms of doing this which I think is a good thing as it teaches us
advocacy.

Take care.

Christina, I forwarded your message to Spotify, as an example of other people
asking for the same thing of accessibility that I am and have been asking for
for quite a while. I hope they see this and hope you didn't mind me passing
this along to them as yet another piece of ammunition to hopefully get them to

Usability of Spotify

2014-04-07 Thread Christian Schöpplein
Hi,

after the Spotify iPhone app was updated to version 1.0 the usability dropped
because many buttons are not labeled anymore :-(. Also the web player has been
updated with the result that it is even more inaccessible :-(. The Mac OS or
Windows application was and is unuseable since I started with Spotify…, all in
all this is a not very nice situation :-(.

Some German Mac and iPhone users wrote to Spotify and told them about the
problems we have with their products and they got good feedback. The problems
will be forwarded to the development team and maybe something will happen that
makes the programms and the web player more useable for us. Maybe all of you,
that also use Spotify, could also write to the supp...@spotify.com address and
tell them about the accessibility issues, the more people are writing, the
better :-). And maybe a new campagne of the month of AppleVis regarding of
Spotify would be the right thing now…, the last caused no results, as far as I
know :-).

I like Spotify very much and it would be sad not to be able to use their
products because they get more and more inaccessible… Please help and let them
know, that there are many blind people out there that like to use Spotify also
in the future!

Cheers from Munich and thanks for your support,

  Christian

On my Macbook Pro I get one single notification marked low battery. I
don't know how low it is as I haven't checked the battery in the Extras

I don't even bother with folders. My feeds are jus talphabitised. lol! I would
not even worry about it, destroy your folders and just have the feeds scattered
or try and put them in ABC order. but make sure that you move your feeds out
of the folders before you do this of corse. Vienna really rocks and is a very
good pod catcher if you want to use it that way.

Take care.

Hi,

Ah this is interesting as I haven't upgraded yet and am still using OS
X 10.8.4.

I wonder if there's some way of structuring an opml file so that feeds
could be imported and put into desired folders in the way I want. I'm
not too bothered about alphabetising them but I really do want to be
able to put folders where I want. This is a shame as I really like
the app otherwise.
