pairing a braille display via bluetooth with mavrics

HI all.
Believe it or not I’ve never had to do this before, and so far don’t seem to be 
able to.
I’ve tried pairing the display using the bluetooth procedure and indeed 
indicates that it has correctly paired.
However then when I go into the voice over utility it tells me it can’t see a 
display.
I’ve also tried the method you use with IOS i.e the iPhone and not pared it but 
instead simply turned on the device and gone into braille displays within the 
voice over utility and again the mac can’t see any braille displays.
So has anyone managed to successfully pair a display using bluetooth and if  so 
how.
Its the Ava comfort I’m trying to do this with which works perfectly via USB.

Hi Terry,

I'm not overly sure if this Braille Display is compatible with
VoiceOver, both on the Mac and iDevices, otherwise it would have
detected it straight away on the Mac and iPhone. Note: you do have to
go to Braille under VoiceOver settings and tell it that you're trying
to connect to that Braille Display.

Yes focus blu 40, I did  this through Braille in VO utilities.  The Mac saw 
it straight away.  I also did same with iPhone and again through Braille and 
not blue tooth.

Deleting the app store and iTunes icons from the iPhone home screen

Hi all -

Is it possible to do this? Somebody not on this list, says they have somehow by 
mistake, deleted their app store and iTuens icons from their iPhone. I was a 
bit surprised by this, as I kind of thought Apple wouldn’t allow for this to 
happen. Anyway, if it is correct, is there a way to get them back on the home 
screen? -

I don't think there is a way to do this unles they jail broke their phone You 
cannot to my knoledge delete the stock app icons.  They might have misplaced 
them in to a folder ow what not.

How to get accidentally deleted home screen icons back

Hi all -

I posted that somebody had accidentally deleted the icons for the app store and 
iTunes, from the home screen on there iPhone. I had expected that Apple would 
have made it impossible to delete these icon, but not so. The way to get them 
back, should it happen to anybody else, is to go in to Setting/general/reset. 
There are several options in there, such as to erase all content from the 
phone; the one that will get the home screens back to how they were when the 
phone was new is the reset my home screen option. Doing this doesn’t mean you 
lose anything you have added to your home screen, but it does put everything 
back as it was in terms of the original icons, so some rearranging is needed, 
but at least nothing has been lost -
