[Mac-access]: Selecting columns and rows in Numbers.
Hi all. First time trying to use numbers. How do you select a column or row in Numbers. The help talks about clicking the table, then the letter or number. Since I cannot find this, how do you do it? Also if you hide a column, VO still announces it. Any ideas? Any good VO tutorials on Numbers that are text base? [Mac-access]: fine reader pro
I downloaded Fine reader pro from the AP store last night as it was on special offer. My HP scanner works with Abbeyfine Express but I can't get Fine reader pro to recognise the scanner it just says no device connected. So how do I connect it? [Mac-access]: Logging In on Mac
I have it set to login with my username and password. If I am not quick enough to start writing my name a screen comes up and I cannot move in it. I cannot arrow right or left, up or down and I have to turn off and on again and catch the login more quickly. Why is this and what is going on? I vaguely think but cannot remember definitely, think this has only happened in Yosemite. I find the easiest way to select a column or row is to move to the first cell you want to start the selection with, and then press shift command down arrow for columns, or right arrow for rows. There are many other options available by entering the header with shift VO | (the key above the enter key). Once you press that key combo, you are in a list (vo doesn’t always announce this list). up and down arrow and press enter or VO space on either the column or row reference tab in that list, depending on whether you want to work with a column or a row. You then arrow right or left to move to the desired column, or up and down to move to the desired row tab. Press Vo Space on the desired column or row reference tab to select it. I believe that selects the entire row/column. Also, with the desired tab selected, press shift VO +M to bring up the context menu for that row/column. in there you can do all sorts of things including sorting and filtering data. Very important! Don’t forget to exit the header with shift VO | again when you’re done, to return to regular spreadsheet operations. Also, I think that once you exit the header, your selection is no longer selected, so do your copy etc while in the header. Yeah I use it. I don't add music anymore to my itunes as I use voice dream to do all of my listening, how ever I did use it to add m4r reing tones I converted. you need to convert them to m4r then you just open and add and wait. it works like a charm. Interesting. It's probably not your mac. Check your server settings to see that you don't have an option checked to do such. I tried using Mental but to be honest did not find it on initial view any more useful than the mobile Facebook site. I have to say though that I am a very infrequent user of Facebook and probably have only shallow usage.
