Hi all,

With all the furor of the past while, I temporarily unsubscribed from the list.

I thought I'd subscribe again, and see what's happening here.

Just wondering who's still left here.

[Mac-Access]: Re: [Mac-Access)': I would like to un subscribed from this list

2015-05-26 Thread Robert Hill
Hello everyone,

Well, maybe things are getting more toward normal or something, but I was able
to use the following procedure to unsubscribe, and resubscribe this morning.

Send an email message as follows:

mac-access-requ...@mac-access.net

Leave the subject blank.

In the message body put the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotation marks)

That should get you unsubscribed.

If you want a list of commands that you can use send an email to the above
address, and in the body of the message put "help" without the quotes.

Hi all,

It has been awhile since I made the changes to gmail, and now I am having
difficulty getting through the interface to make the midifications to the "all

Any refreshers on how to get the basic html interface for gmail, so I can find
the correct spot in settings to get this done?

Thanks for any suggestions.

iPod 4th generation upgrade to iOS 6.1 stuck

2013-01-30 Thread Robert Hill
Hi all,

I attempted to upgrade my wife's iPod 4th generation to iOS 6.1.
The device froze after it was supposed to reboot, and now we can't do anything
with it, no shut down, no reset, etc.
I tried connecting it to my Macintosh , but iTunes doesn't recognize it.
Is there any keystroke combination to get the device "unstuck"?

Thanks for any suggestions.

One other thing to try, as long as you're using the Magic Trackpad, do a
three-finger double tap to unmute VoiceOver, and see if that works.
I have heard that that will solve the problem.

Re: Something Weird

Would it be possible that the screen curtain was inadvertendly turned on.
It would only be active when VoiceOver is on.
Try a three-finger triple tap to see if Screen curtain toggles on and off.

Re: Braille Screen Covers for iPad

2012-06-22 Thread Robert Hill
I just looked at the SpeedDots web site, and they say the iPad will be getting
screen covers soon.
With the national conventions for the organizations for the blind coming up,
I'd guess that there will be news soon.
