Re: Cocktail, anyone had trouble running this under Lion?

2011-08-03 Thread Mike Arrigo
There is a separate beta of cocktail for lion, the snow leppard version will
not work. Also, in lion, make sure you have a password set for your account.
Not having a password and just pressing enter does not work in lion.

Hi!

After using Cocktail for a few times, I got the issue Dane is experiencing.
However, grabbing the file and replacing it seems to fix it again, and not
exactly sure why.

Nic

I can't remember what version I'm running, all I know is that I updated it
before installing OSX Lion a fortnight ago and of course! their may have been
updates since so it will be worth my while pointing my browser to the web site
I think.

Right so I'm not the only one experiencing that problem so I'll have a dig
around and perhaps write to the author if I can find contact details to see if
there's a solution.

Hi Dane,

Did you make sure to grab the 5.0 beta? it works fine here, but scheduling has
been disabled due to it being in the beta stages. It may very well be 5.0 now,
in which case I haven't received the update.
