Ok. yeah i thought it was just me. This seems to be a bug that has been long
standing since snl, or for me, the last 3 years of using a mac. Hope someone
would be able to hep as this is odd.

Not sure if the path is the same, but I also had trouble doing pop and apple
mail. I dunno why. Nothing seemed to happen when I would check for mail. I'm
guessing that's what's going on?

If it is imap then got to mail prefs, then accounts, then that mail account and
click the advanced tab.

Now go all the way to IMAP Path Prefix: and enter in the text field
INBOX

then close and save the account by hitting the save button.. Now check to see
if you get emails.

Having trouble adding a second email account.

2013-08-12 Thread Linda C Knight

Hi all,

I am trying to add my second email account to the mac.

I must be missing something, I put in my correct password.

I don't understand. I am following the prompts and still I can't get or receive
mail on that account. I use tampabay.rr.com and i have 2 email accounts.

Any ideas?
