Hi all This seems to me a little like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut! Unless I'm missing something, which is very possible, why can't you just select all of the text when you have the PDF open and then copy it into TextEdit, save it as text and that's it, you're done. Again, if I'm missing something, do please let me know. You certainly can. I just attempt to avoid RSI when doing multiple conversions. This saves key strokes, repedetive movement and time is all. Thanks, I'll have a look at that. What's the advantage of using a program like this, compared to opening a PDF -- in Preview, for example -- selecting all and then pasting into a word processing program such as TextEdit? Hi, If I may chime in here, this app seems to have received rather poor reviews overall. I haven't actually tried installing it yet, mostly on account of these reviews, but would encourage anyone interested in such a thing to look for another program with a little bit better feedback. I guess I'm just lucky then because it's worked quite well every time and unlike some other apps, works fine with VO. If anyone manages to find something better though that doesn't cost the earth, I'd love to know.
