Re: Dropbox on the Mac

2014-10-19 Thread Sarah k Alawami
Actually install the app, then just open the place where your dropbox folder is
and copy cut and paste to your hart's content.

On the PC, my dropbox files are in a list. I planned to download Dropbox to
the Mac and have a similar list. However, When I open Dropbox with Safari
instead of letting me download and install the app, it's already there on a
cluttered web page with links to my files. Is there a way to get a cleaner
screen? How do I add files to Dropbox on the Mac?

 thanks a bunch,

2012-02-08 Thread Geoff Waaler
Hi Jim,

Run the installation directly from the volume (the .dmg file). For some
reason, that method is accessible, where as copying it to the applications
folder and running it from there is not. I got that tip on this list from
Annie N last summer.

Best regards.
Geoff

All you do is copy and past the files in to the folders once you get it
installed. I'll let someone else outlind the install prociedure as I need to go
grab breakfast though but I do use it all the time on my mac.

Take care.
