I know some of us who use  ocr, me excluded use abby fine reader and voo scan.  
oi hear it's quite good  and less expensive then other products that are useful 
for ocr as well.

Hi Sadam.
I have the Hovercam v5 and Docuscan+ for the mac and i think that it 
works great, it will also convert PDFS as well.
