You could also try mac mall as they are very very reliable ands is
overstock.com. I bought a vmware 4 dvd for $29 and registered it with vmware
just a few months ago.

Take care of yourself.

Re: vmware fusion 5?

2012-12-28 Thread Gordon Smith
Hello Melissa

Speaking personally, I find version 5 more accessible than 4. I strongly
encourage you to get it if you can but I also suggest you get it from them
VMWare people directly. There have been stories and rumours about people
claiming to be resellers and they sell and distribute blocked or bogus serial
numbers. How true or wide-spread this is I don't know since we always deal
with the developer directly.

The "Lite" version (the version that comes without the AV software) is just
about to be put on our site. I believe it works as a trial as well as an
upgrade.

No, the upgrade can be done via their website. Although it never prompted me

that the download process itself on the VMWare website is a very messy and

Hi Phil

First, please be aware that this is only a small resource but it contains
software which we personally either use, have used, or have not yet had the
time to try.

The resource is also based on a server that's very very busy, 24/7 so don't be
too hasty if you get a couple of delays. We have to prioritise our commercial
clients, for obvious reasons.

The secure site can be found here:

Gordon, I'd like to know the location of the software resource page.

Hi all

if there's anybody on list who has bought, or wishes to try VMWare Fusion
version 5.0 but you're having problems downloading it, we will be adding
it to our software resource page shortly.

if anybody is interested and doesn't know where to find that resource,
please let us know by replying to this message.

Thanks.

Gordon
