Hi Mark,
Umm, I may be simply dense, but I've never seen this particular button before. 
Where precisely is it?  It sounds more like something on a  web site than in 
the browser proper.

Hello Zack and Mark

I can confirm that there is no such button in Safari. My guess is that there is 
an open window on Mark's system as Safari by default reopens the last page. If 
you have a lot of bookmarks they can also open by default if configured too I 
believe.
