Shame! wonder of Apple will think about changing the status quo in the future 
given that so many people use IOS devices as "Computers".

Hi!

This I have to admit to being a damn good question on behalf of a friend who 
wants to send some ring tones he's made to his wife's iPhone and iPad.

Both devices are "Stand Alone" devices meaning that they're not associated with 
any computers of any kind so the iPhone and iPad are used as computers if you 
like.

So how to get these files recognised as Ring Tones without using iTunes or a 
computer or is this task just too mind mangling and put into the category of 
"Impossible" .
