Re: Spanish dictionary
Hello: Ultralingua is a beet expensive, but is great. It works just fast and accurate. You just type or dictate the word and it gives results without having go search. Hope it helps. Re: Spanish dictionary
Hi Chris — Have a good trip, and I hope this response isn’t too late to help. I’ve been satisfied with the paid version of the "Ascendo Spanish English Dictionary +” app. I’ve pasted the link to the free version below. The differences between free and paid versions are listed in the app’s description. Most parts of this app are accessible with VO, and all content is local with the exception of the spoken versions of words and phrases, both of which require an active Internet connection. You can search the dictionary using ENglish or Spanish words, and each entry can be navigated using standard VO methods. In the phrases section each phrase is followed by two unlabeled buttons. These 2 buttons play spoken English & Spanish versions of the phrase respectively. Automatic language switching does not seem to work in this app, but if you have a Spanish voice in your language rotor you can toggle it to get an approximation. Note that this is the US version. I’m not sure if it will be available to you if you live outside the US. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/free-spanish-english-dictionary/id321568349?mt=8 HTH, Bryan On Jan 12, 2014, at 7:47 AM, Chris Goodwin wrote: > Hi all, > I'm lucky enough to be going off to a Spanish speaking country next week and > would like to know if anyone has experience with a good but VoiceOver > compatible iPhone English Spanish dictionary app? > > I'm after a dictionary primarily, but don't mind learning about translaters > too. <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to mac-access@mac-access.net You can find an archive of all messages postedto the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-access@mac-access.net/>. Spanish dictionary
Hi all, I'm lucky enough to be going off to a Spanish speaking country next week and would like to know if anyone has experience with a good but VoiceOver compatible iPhone English Spanish dictionary app? I'm after a dictionary primarily, but don't mind learning about translaters too.
