Re: Upgrading Fusion Under Lion

2011-10-02 Thread Esther
Hi Matthew,

The command to route your mouse cursor to your VoiceOver cursor is
VO-Command-F5. You can also have VoiceOver check what is under the mouse and
report it to you with VO-F5.

Cheers,

Esther

Hi, Esther. Looks like I have to route the mouse to the VO

This performs a mouse click, you will want to first make sure the mouse pointer
is where you want to click before using this command.

Re: Upgrading Fusion Under Lion

2011-10-01 Thread Esther
Hi Matthew,

John's advice to do VO-Shift-Space executes a (software) mouse click. To double
click you would hold down the Control, Option, and Shift keys and then tap the
space bar twice. Occasionally software clicks do not work and you have to
actually click with your trackpad or mouse (after making sure that your mouse
cursor is routed to your VoiceOver cursor). The Numpad Commander assignment
for a Mouse Click (pressing the "5" key on the Numpad) always seems to have the
same status as a hardware click. (That is, it will work in the few situations
where VO-Shift-Space does not, equivalent to physically clicking with a Mouse
or Trackpad.)

HTH. Cheers,

Esther

Re: Upgrading Fusion Under Lion

2011-10-01 Thread Matthew Chao

Hello. Am still having trouble. Perhaps I'm missing something:

1. I went to the downloads folder.

2. found the dmg file for Fusion.

3. Went to File Menu and specified mount disk.

4. Went into the mounted disk and went through the steps to
upgrade. Nothing happening? What am I missing? I'm frustrated.

to do to get this right? Thanks in advance.

Upgrading Fusion Under Lion

2011-10-01 Thread Matthew Chao
Hi, Folks. I'm sorry if this has already been covered, but I haven't
had a chance to upgrade Fusion to Version 4 under Lion.

Anyway, when I mounted the unew Fusion, it said to double-click to
upgrade from version 3. How do I do that? I tried hitting enter,
vo-space, Quicknav for enter, but no luck. What do I need to do to
get this right? Thanks in advance.
