When reading by paragraph using Voiceover, I hear “quotation mark” or “double quote” based on what synthesizer I have enabled. I might hear http://google.com quotation mark. or something to that effect or in the field where the partial web address I’ll hear http quotation mark even though there is not one there. I’ve been having this issue since last year but never brought it up as I thought apple would fix it. right now I would just deal with it. I don’t think apple will ever fix this and I’m not sure if it is apple, the synth they use, or what.
