I noticed that as well. it works, but yeah. I really hope that they do get new
updates and all of that stuff as the software does need some improvements. Not
many, but yeah.

 Hello again Sara:
So create transitions you can do the following:
 1. When you have your slides complete, you can add transitions in each
slide. When you add a transition, you will add it on the slide which will
start with it. So, select the slide for which you want the transition in
 the slide browser.
 2. stop interacting with all and go to the toolbar, then check the Animate
 Checkbox.
 3. Go to the formatting tool and you will be placed at an Animate pane,
where you have to locate the Add transition button.
 4. When you select the transition you want, bo to the transition
formatting tool, and there you can adjust the duration and if you want
them to occur automatically. I would leave it as it is, so you pass the
 slides as you wish.
 5. You stop interacting with all and you are done.
VoiceOver doesn’t speak if a slide has a transition or not, but if it does
and by mistake you want to put it again, you will find a Change button
instead of the add transition button.
I really hope it helps you, an if I can help you more, contact me again.

2014-02-07 Thread Sarah k Alawami
Ah right now i'm working in outline view as for me it's just easier to work
with and I can see what happens and how many slides I have. I don't need
animations at the moment, but at least they're there. I wish though the
navatater the one that is the default would speak slide numbers as you arrow
though the table with out the use of the vo keys. It for me does not.

Take care.

Hi Daniela,

I agree new keynote is a revelation. One thing that is interesting is the fact
that when in Slideshow mode, the text content appears in ‘edit’ fields. Wonder
why they did that.

Re: issue with the newest key note

2014-02-06 Thread Daniela Rubio
Hello again Sara:
So create transitions you can do the following:
1. When you have your slides complete, you can add transitions in each slide.
When you add a transition, you will add it on the slide which will start with
it. So, select the slide for which you want the transition in the slide browser.
2. stop interacting with all and go to the toolbar, then check the Animate
Checkbox.
3. Go to the formatting tool and you will be placed at an Animate pane, where
you have to locate the Add transition button.
4. When you select the transition you want, bo to the transition formatting
tool, and there you can adjust the duration and if you want them to occur
automatically. I would leave it as it is, so you pass the slides as you wish.
5. You stop interacting with all and you are done.
VoiceOver doesn’t speak if a slide has a transition or not, but if it does and
by mistake you want to put it again, you will find a Change button instead of
the add transition button.
I really hope it helps you, an if I can help you more, contact me again.
Best

Re: issue with the newest key note

2014-02-05 Thread Sarah k Alawami
I want a transition between slides. I cannot find a way to do this. I also want
the last slide to be blank and black.

Re: issue with the newest key note

2014-02-04 Thread Daniela Rubio
Hi Sara!
To edit a title body or text body, just interact with the rectangle and bring
the mouse. Then Vo+Shift+space. If you have your mouse follow Vo cursor, you
don’t need to bring the mouse.
Can you be a little more specific on the transitions issue? Take care and hope
it helps!

issue with the newest key note

2014-02-04 Thread Sarah k Alawami
Hello to all. In using the new key note I"m noticing that when I press enter
to edit a title, or the body of my slide my text disappears. Is there a way to
solve this as I have a presentation due in a week and I can't have that happen
as it will I'm sure dock if I forget a slide or leave a slide blank. Also how
do I have the transitions fade in and out from black to what ever then fade to
black

Take care to all and sorry if this rambles a bit. I have one of my migraines
again.

Be blessed all.
